I'd be really grateful if experts could please advise on the best quality race management system currently available in the marketplace.

SRM only works in DOS. If your computer has Windows you can download a copy of DOS and configure the computer to boot up in DOS. You might also look into Ultimate Racer 3 if you are looking for a Windows freeware program. All of the tracks that I run on use TrakMate, there are DOS and Windows versions of TrakMate.

Hi Jonny and welcome to the forum. I can only really comment on Ultimate Racer 3.0 which I have recently started to use with a home made deadstrip acting as the sensor and connected to an old laptop, my 2 sons and I run at home on a 2 lane Scalextric Sport set up and by using Ultimate Racer it has added a whole new aspect to our racing, the ability to set up individual racers and show, and keep, stats for each driver and car is brilliant, also the ability to run tournaments using any number of racers and cars is another great feature. Best of all it's free

We used to use the Sport counter and used to get missed laps on certain cars but now with the deadstrip and Ultimate Racer we don't miss any

Good luck with whatever system you go for.

Many thanks for all the recommendations. Will look into all of these.

If it helps narrow things down a little I am in search of the most robust / reliable system for commercial usage & one that has the most impressive user interface / front end as hoping to use at exhibitions.
